Fine fabrics, trims, linings, and interlinings are carefully chosen for draperies and all soft furnishings. Carolyn's dressmaking techniques are exemplified in the hand crafting of window treatments. Hand sewing is preferred in applying trims, and particularly when working with silks, hand hemming is preferred. Tailoring techniques such as adding micro cording, buttons and zippers are used to create an extraordinary finished look.
